Cookies and browser storage
Vocalis uses browser storage to operate authentication, remember consent, support application behavior, and—only when enabled and consented—measure product usage.
This page describes the current granular preference implementation. It does not claim jurisdiction-specific storage lifetimes that have not been owner-approved.
Necessary and functional storage
Authentication and session continuity use browser storage managed by the configured Supabase authentication client. Vocalis may also use necessary application state so a requested workflow can function.
Necessary storage is not used as a substitute for optional analytics consent. Exact provider-generated keys and lifetimes can change with the authenticated session and provider implementation.
Consent record
The application stores a versioned vocalis_cookie_consent record in local storage and appends a minimized server-side preference event. The record contains a policy version, schema version, update timestamp, and Necessary, Analytics, and Marketing choices.
Necessary is always enabled. The first layer offers Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Manage preferences. Manage preferences allows Analytics and Marketing to be chosen independently; dismissing the prompt does not save a choice.
Analytics and marketing categories
When a PostHog key is configured, PostHog initializes only after the relevant stored consent. Autocapture and session recording are disabled in the audited implementation.
Page-view and product events are treated as Analytics unless an event is classified as Marketing. Marketing-classified events require the Marketing category. PostHog does not initialize before the relevant consent, and withdrawing all optional consent opts out and resets its browser identity.
Conditional checkout storage
Paddle or Razorpay scripts and provider-managed browser storage may be used when a customer opens the corresponding checkout flow. These payment scripts are conditional and are not described as running on every page.
The provider used depends on currency, market, eligibility, and current routing policy. India uses Razorpay/INR; eligible international USD checkout may use Paddle when enabled.
Your current choices
You can choose optional categories independently when the banner appears and reopen the same controls through the persistent Cookie Settings link in the website footer.
A saved change takes effect immediately on that browser. Clearing site data may remove sign-in and consent state and cause the banner to appear again.
